Here they are in no particular order…

1. u/Daphenetjor’s Lush and Plant-Filled Desk Setup

Going in the exact opposite direction from today’s RGB-filled computer setups, this Redditor’s plant-heavy desk setup has us feeling tranquil and productive. A minimalist wood and steel desk and shelves is the perfect foundation for a bevy of trailing plants, and the southwest facing window gives plenty of sunlight to keep everything growing all year long.

Lush and Plant-Filled Desk Setup

This office owes much of its cozy vibes to the selection of plants, which includes Pothos, Philodendron Micans, Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma, and Philodendron Squamiferum. If you’re lusting after the mug that’s pictured, you can find one for yourself through Huckberry — it’s an HMM Japanese Ceramic Mug.

2. u/thedesigner2011’s Long and Lofted Office Space

A beautiful setup that makes the most of a lofted space’s angled walls, this white brick and hardwood office looks like an ideal retreat from the rest of the world.

The major pieces include a custom-made 12ft American Walnut Butcher Block Desk, IKEA FINNVARD Trestles, and an Alera Elusion with Headrest Chair, lovingly adorned with trailing Pothos plants to either side of a dual-monitor setup.

The trickiest part of the whole aesthetic? That’s not actually brick laid at a 45 degree angle — it’s a shockingly realistic brick wallpaper.

3. u/pradalaskan’s Brooklyn High Rise With Big Monitors

Perhaps the most modern and clean office setup of all that we’re featuring here, this Redditor’s monitor-centric desk seems perfectly complemented by the large high-rise windows behind it. The original poster invested quite a bit in their PC and monitors, with a top ultrawide Predator Z35p, bottom ultrawide Alienware AW3418DW, and Predator XB271HK side monitor.

As for the desk, that’s an IKEA Karlby mounted atop two IKEA Alex drawers. The ErgoHuman Raynor desk chair is a great addition, too, offering a fine mix of functionality and comfort.

4. u/imsorrybae’s Clean and Minimal Corner Office

Made almost entirely in grayscale, this office is a minimalist’s dream setup. It’s obviously geared towards a mixed use of gaming and office work — the DXRacer F Series chair is a dead giveaway. Unfortunately for anyone lusting after the desk and shelving, you’re out of luck with finding a copy of the original; they came from a local shop in the original poster’s small European town.

We especially appreciate using the custom prints as a way to accent the otherwise dark aesthetic. For around $50 per picture and frame, it’s an easy way to add the final touches to an office setup that might otherwise look too sterile.

5. u/superstrm’s Light and Bright Home Office

Another great example of using custom prints to liven up a grayscale setup, this wide-angle office’s exceptional cord management sets it apart from the crowd. The original poster has been tracking their changes to the space year by year — here’s the previous year’s setup for comparison.

IKEA’s Signum under-desk organizer plays a key role in the cable management here, as well as dozens of cable ties to keep everything perfectly in place. If you’re interested in that swing-arm lamp, it’s readily available from the Tomons Store on Amazon.

6. u/sleepwolf_’s Custom Pegboard Desk and Storage

A lockdown project that’s definitely worth undertaking, this custom pegboard setup is one of our favorite uses of bespoke furniture in an office. The original poster has this to say about the desk and pegboard: “It’s custom. 18mm hardwood ply, drilled and painted.

The pegs are just 16mm oak dowels I picked up pretty cheap from ebay and the shelves are actually made from leftover oak floor boards.” They were originally inspired by another Redditor’s DIY pegboard setup.

7. u/seanBCi’s Dark and Forested Office Getaway

Getting to work in your home office and feeling like you’re deep in a forest? We’re definitely jealous. The amazing views of evergreen trees would be enough to make this an awesome office, but the dark wood tones, soft lighting, and abundant plants make it even more lush and attractive.

That trademark lamp is IKEA’s Holmo Floor Lamp, and the desk is a surprisingly affordable Jysk ASKIM office desk.

8. u/Pneub’s Warm and Inviting Office Room

A marked departure from the sparse, grayscale, and dark-hued offices featured so far, this dedicated office room is filled with warm browns, reds, and oranges. It manages to pull off a clean and mature look without being overdone, making it feel as inviting as a well-designed living room.

9. u/CuPc8K3’s Blue-Hued Sofa and Office

Blues and tans? It might be an odd choice for a color scheme, but we think that the designer has really pulled it off in this office. We’re amazed by how much color has been incorporated into the room without it looking too busy.

Herman Miller receives another enthusiastic recommendation here, this time with the Embody office chair. If you’re loving those geometric bookshelves as much as we are, consider picking up a pair from Wayfair.

10. u/thatsawipe’s Ultra-Minimalist Desk

The cleanest and most minimalist of all the office setups we’ve featured, this desk is an absolute glory of cable management. Have you ever seen such a crisp and clean desktop computer setup?

We certainly haven’t until now. VIVO’s monitor desk mount stand is what makes it all possible, as are the Simplecord cable organizers.
