No one would describe me as an audiophile. I don’t have a vinyl collection or a high tech listening station in my living room.
But I do love music, and I appreciate a clean, natural design aesthetic.
That’s exactly what the Stir It Up turntable from House of Marley embodies.
Made from sustainable materials like bamboo plinth and recyclable aluminum, this turntable has a minimal and sort of retro look.
There are very few embellishments – silver metal details, the House of Marley logo and a subtle quote scripted along the tone arm.
Don’t be fooled by the simplistic design. With a built-in preamp and multiple outputs, this turntable is has all of the functionality you need.
You can listen through headphones, a portable speaker or your own amplifier/speaker setup. You can even take advantage of the USB output to record to your computer.
But my favorite part about the Stir It Up turntable is how it looks perfect on the sofa table, nestled between a wooden statue and a cluster of aloe plants.
And yes, I’ve been playing records, mostly when guests are over. Now to work on that vinyl collection…
