About this Place

This industrial apartment is inside a rehabbed brewery in Milwaukee. The brick walls, exposed ductwork, and high ceilings make this place look good without much effort.

mid-century rocker

The bright green mid-century rocking chairs add a fun touch of color and coordinate with the rug and art on the wall. He’s made a smart choice in using the classic “U” room layout. It provides a ton of seating and makes for easy conversation.

We like the gallery wall above his desk. He keeps things looking cohesive by using frames in black and silver.

office-1

The school house desk is definitely a throwback piece, but we like it. It offers tons of storage and has clean lines that work well with his other mid-century pieces.

A DIY shelf holds his turntable and record collection. The pipe fittings look great in an industrial setting like this loft.

The shelf was built by his father with reclaimed wood from a bowling alley. You can find similar industrial shelving units at a furniture store if building isn’t your thing.
